How to Wear Tallit (video)

A tallit, the Jewish prayer shawl, is an integral part of the morning prayer service, and a commandment in the Bible. How do you do it? Find out right here, with Rabbi Steven Exler.

Here is the blessing for putting on a tallit:

Baruch ata Adonai, Eloheinu melech ha’olam, asher kiddeshanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu l’hitatef b’tzitzit.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, who blesses us with commandments and commanded us to wrap ourselves in tzitzit.
